Submit a Parish Newsletter Article
To submit an article, email the following
information about appropriate topics to newsletter

Please include or attach to your
email an image for your article,
or please provide the URL address for the image, if any. (We will choose an image if you do not.)
Rules for Submission of a Story/Article:
ARTICLE/STORY:
- Send via e-mail to the Newsletter
Editor as attachment.
- Choose intuitive document names.
CONTENT:
- Who, what, where, when, why and how, preferably in lead
paragraph
- No editorializing, no un-attributed opinions - quote people
directly
- Concise, objective, news style
DOCUMENT:
- No embedded text, no embedded graphics
- No superfluous characters
PHOTOS:
- Send via e-mail as attachments with related articles
- Send in jpeg (*.jpg) or gif (*.gif) format, high quality
- Choose intuitive file names.
CAPTIONS:
- Photos must have captions identifying all people (left to
right) unless shown in a large group
- Add captions to the end of the article and reference
corresponding photos
Newsletter articles, and all productions of the SJV Parish Newsletter, are subject to review before posting.
