JustFaith

JustFaith is an in-depth process in which a small faith community explores issues of justice in their community and in their world. Supported by the Diocese of San Jose, in partnership with Catholic Charities USA, Catholic Campaign for Human Development, and Catholic Relief Services, the JustFaith program integrates personal spirituality and social ministry through study and practice of the justice traditions articulated by the scriptures, the Church's historical witness, and Catholic social teaching. Over the course of nine months, participants grow together as a community and share a journey of faith and compassion that is both life-giving and challenging. Meeting weekly, participants read and discuss books and videos on justice, working towards enlightenment and conversion to an orientation towards justice. The program also includes three day-long group retreats which build community and further enrich and enliven the remarkable justice tradition of the Church. JustFaith is a challenging and rewarding experience in a community of justice. Contact: Ellen Turner 272-9234. Meetings are Monday, 7:00 pm, in the Parish Office Center. (This is not a group you can join mid-year.)
